About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I apply for Nanjing and shangai 144 free transit

I live in Hong Kong and I have an Italian Passport, I would like to visit my friend in Nanjing for 2 day and after go to Shangai for 1 day and come back in Hong kong, can I apply for a 144 hours free transit?

Luciane, you cannot apply for it because after stopping in Nanjing and Shanghai, you fly back to HK, but in principle, you should fly to a third country or region. Thus, you should apply for a tourist L type to visit your friend in mainland PRC.
Or after stopping in Nanjing and Shanghai, you can fly to Macau, in this way, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in mainland PRC.
