About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Will I need to go through customs at the Beijing Airport?

i am traveling from New York City to Manila with a layover in there.

Well, for international to international transfer passengers, if your stopover is within 24 hours, you don't need to go through the border inspection. Just stamp on your boarding pass. However, the custom inspection is still necessary. If you take accompanied articles that must be declared to the customs at the airport.
