How to apply for F type

I am Egyptian and I want to apply for the F visa. I am aware of all the required documents but I do not know what to do next. Should I submit my documents to the Chinese embassy here in Egypt, take an appointment maybe? If yes, how can I do that?Or will it be issued at the airport? I am kind of lost when it comes to what to do next with the documents?
