Hi, my son will probably have a charge of misdemeanor-1 charged. It is for shoplifting. Do you know how this will affect his visa application to China?

Based on my experience, if he applies for the short-term tourist or business entry permits, there won't be big problems. However, if he applies for the long-term study, work or family union type entry permits, he may meet with some difficulties.
