About:China Visa

Our daughter just graduated from high school, turns 18 on July 8. Passport good for another 10 years

Her father is a teacher in Beijing and mom lives there too. She will be staying with us one more year before returning to the U.S. for college. She is not taking classes in China this year. We want to get her an S2 Chinese visa with 90-180 days per stay with unlimited entries. Is this still possible? We were planning on going to Hong Kong for this I understand most tourist L types are now good for up to 10 years.

Debby, you can possibly apply for the 10-year S2 type for your daughter, but I'm not sure whether the application will be passed. By the way, the stay duration of 10-year S2 visa is 90 days.

Or you can apply for a one-year multiple-entry S2 visa for your daughter to obtain a longer stay duration after each entry.
