About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hrs free visa entry at Beijing.

If 72 visa hrs expire at 3 pm & flight Dept is 8,30 pm ie 5,00 hrs later.

If we enter in air port at 2 pm after remigration check, we are allowed to get flight at 8.30 hrs or not?

Actually I recently heard that the 72-hour period in Beijing starts from the midnight following passengers' arrival, just like the other cities. Therefore, you may stay untile the time your flight depars and don't have to go through the immigration check 5 hours in advance. You can confirm this with Beijing immigration inspection.
