About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Short stay in Beijing. Can I stay under the 72 free pass or do I need a Visa?

I am leaving Canada and arriving with my family in Beijing on Jan 30th, 2017 at 04:25 pm. I am leaving for Phuket on Feb 02nd, 2017 at 07:00pm. We are Canadian citizens.

Hi Daniel! Though your layover is three hours longer than 72 hours, it's possible you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy. You can contact Beijing Airport immigration office (tel: 0086-10-56095400) or your airline to confirm this.
