best way to get from Xiamen airport to Gulangyu island ferry

I will arrive at the airport at 05.30am at tuesday morning. Have already bought a ticket for the ferry online. Departure time (ferry) 09.10. What are my options to get there the best and shortest way. I read a bus trip takes almost 2 hours ! Thanks for advising my!
