Which is the central location for tourists to stay in Beijing?

where are the shopping malls and night markets in which area? I have 2 days which are the top attractions which I should not miss out on?

I think it's NanLuoGuXiang and WangFuJing...and Forbidden City~...if u only have two days to visit.By the way,u 'd better not stay in "Second Ring",it's too expensive...

You may stay near Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. There are many good hotels for you, such as Sunworld Dynasty Hotel, Jinjiang Inn, and Super 8.

For shopping, you can go to the nearby Wangfujing Department Store. The most popular night markets are the Wangfujing Snack Street, and the Guijie (Ghost Street) at the Dongzhimen area.

The must-see attractions include Forbidden City, Badaling Great Wall, Summer Palace, Beihai Park, Nanluoguxiang Hutong, etc.
