hangzhou/wuzhen

Question

We will be arriving in Hangzhou early afternoon on 14 October and departing morning of 16 October.  How best to spend our time?  Afternoon and evening of 14th in Hangzhou and day trip to Wuzhen on 15th?  Or spend entire time in Hangzhou?  We will have been to Suzhou and Xitang previously so it Wuzhen also worth a visit?Vivienne

In my opinion, the sceneries and environment of water towns are almost the same. If you have been to Xitang previously, there is no need to visit another one. However, if you are particularly interested in the ancient towns, you may take a day trip to Wuzhen on the second day.
