About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Arriving CA984 from USA at 5:20 AM in Beijing Airport, Departing CA1403 to Kunming at 7:00 AM.

Do I understand correctly? Get off plane, go through customs, take mini train to domestic side of terminal find gate for flight CA1403.
Is it really that easy? When do I claim my checked baggage and take it through customs?

Well, it's international to domestic transfer in T3.
The correct procedures are the following:
Upon arrival at 3F, T3-E, you need to go through Quarantine & Inspection, and Immigration Inspection first. Next, go to 2F, T3-E to take APM train to 2F, T3-C. Then, Claim your baggage, and finish the Customs and Transfer Procedures. Afterwards, go to 3F, T3-C, and accept Security Check. Finally, wait for boarding.
However, you need to have at least 2 hours to make the transfer. Thus, you'd better to change the flight schedule of the next plane.

Thank you, but I don't understand. Is 3F, T3-E, Third Floor, Terminal 3 location E?
