s2 visa, after entry to prc, what to do?

Hello Dear Thanks for your reply as i told you before my wife got S2 type with 150 Days and she is in china now you said just need to go local police station for registration nothing else but my company take her for medical examination also and now they said we need to apply for permanent residence permite for her why we do that? is that necessary?

Umar, I think it's weird. It's impossible that your wife can get a permanent residence permit now. Actually the medical report is needed for applying a temporary residence permit, but this is only for those S1 type holders.
