About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

Pocket knives and cell phones

1) I know that one cannot take metal knifes in the carry on luggage. But are plastic or ceramic pocket knives allowed in the carry on luggage?
2) Can I put my mobile phone in the check in luggage?

1. You still need to put plastic or ceramic knives into checked luggage.
2. As I know, you need to remove the battery of the cell phone if you want to check it. Or, you can only take it along with you.
