About:China Visa

Hungary visa required for Mauritian studying in PRC

Good afternoon, I'm a foreign Mauritian student in Nanjing,Jiangsu province in China. I wanted some information concerning a topic and it will be kindly appreciated if you can reply to me.
So, the issue is that during the holidays (in July and August) I'm planning to visit Hungary in Budapest where my sister actually study and from there we're planning to have 2 weeks trip to The united Kingdom, I wanted to know if there's any document or entry permit I should apply for before leaving PRC.

Dear, you should apply for a tourist visa to Hungary before leaving PRC.
You should first prepare the required documents including your passport, a passport-sized color photo, the completed application form, health insurance, your residence permit in PRC, proof of your financial support, proof of transportation arrangement, and hotel reservation, or an invitation letter from your sister and her passport and residence permit in Hungary.
Next, submit your application to the embassy of Hungary in PRC to apply for it.

Even if I'm staying for 6 weeks a tourist visa is required?

Yes, I’m afraid it is required even if your travel is just for 6 weeks.

But I've read that no visa is required for a stay of less than 90 days
