Do people often travel to HK for flights to European countries? Any data on how many people will do so within 2015?

Yes, a lot of people in Mainland China will take HK as a transfer point to Europe. However, the specific data is hard to find on the net. In a piece of news, it said that passenger volume of HK Airport in the first half of 2015 is 33.6 million. Among them, a large proportion is stopover passengers.
