Requirement to apply multiple entry visa and validity date of it

Hi,I would like to ask about the requirement to apply entry permit for multiple entry within 6 months. The visa will be effective right after I got it or count from the day 1 that I enter China?

Hi Evelyn! You need to prepare the following materials, including a passport valid for at least six months, a copy of the passport's info page, a completely filled-out application form attached with a half-length photo against light background, and a proof showing your travel purpose. If you travel for business purpose, the document should be an invitation letter from your business partner in PRC. If you travel for sightseeing purpose, the document should be round-trip tickets and hotel reservations.

The validity starts from the date of issue while the stay duration counts from the next day after you enter PRC.
