About:Getting to Macau

Direct transport from HKIA to Macau Regency Hotel

Hi:
We(4 pax, including a 12-year old child) are planning to stay for 1-night in Macao the moment we arrived at the HKIA from Philippines. Our estimated time of arrival at HKIA is 17:35 or 5:35 pm on 02 Dec. 2016. We plan to take skypier to save our time since we have limited stay in Hongkong. We plan to stay at Regency Hotel for an overnight to visit venetian Hotel and take our dinner at Bambu Rest and visit afterwards the Senado square and Ruins of St. Paul.

How would be the arrangement with the immigration and how can we get a roundtrip ferry ticket at budgeted cost?

Thank you.

1. Dear Jenneth, you are eligible to the 14 days visa free policy in Hong Kong, and 30 days visa free policy in Macao. Don't worry!
2. You can book the round trip ferry ticket through Turbojet. The 12-year-old child needs to pay full price. The economy class costs HKD 254; the super class costs HKD 407. The trip takes about 70 minutes by the way. :)

Thank you Vivian. Further to my question, so it is possible to take skypier from HKIA directly to Macao? Is the ferry fare is the current rate? weekday at at night?

Thanks much

Yes, you can take a ferry from Skypier, HKIA to Macao. The fare is the current rate. There are four departures each day: 11:00, 13:15, 17:00, and 22:00. Hence, you may take the one at 22:00. By the way, you needn't go through immigration at HKIA. May you have a nice trip! :)

Thank you so much Vivian. You're a great help.

Have you been able to stay at Cosmo Hotel or Dorsett-Mongkok? I was contemplating between these two hotel. But I would appreciate if you could suggest another 4-star hotel near the Victoria Peak and Ocean park or Macao Hongkong Terminal.

Cheers,

Jenneth

As I know, the Cosmo Hotel is better because it provides nicer environment.
Near the Peak, you may consider the The Garden View– YWCA Hotel. Near the Ocean Park, Ovolo Southside Hotel may be a nice choice for you. In addition, the Pottinger Hotel near Macao HK Ferry Terminal also provides quality service and nice service. :)
