staying overnight in jinshanling

Question

Hi,I'm going to China this coming October. I'll go to the wall part of my trip and I want to stay there overnight. Is the Hotel is inside the area (passing through the ticket entrance?). I want to watch sunset and sunrise and I'm concern the entrance to the hiking route to the great wall is closed during sunset and sunrise. If I stay at the hotel, can I hike up to the great wall and watch sunset and sunrise? is the entrance open for hikers who stay at the hotel?

Visitors live in the scenic area can have a chance to view the sunset and sunrise. You can check in Jinshan Hotel near the ticket check point. It is within 20 minutes' walking distance from the Wall.But you'd better not hike to the Wall in dark. There is no light on the Wall, so the hiking may not be very safe.
