About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Is VOA possible when having a Visa on the Passport?

Hello
I have a two entry one and I was planning to use it to its maximum extent.
Things have changed and now it is going to happen to arrive in China from Europe, to stay 72 hours and to leave to a third Asian country. I do not like to waste one entry.
The arrival airport in PRC allows the 72 hours free transit policy.
May I apply for it and save the residual entry on the entry permit I have? Or rather is it going to be denied by Chinese officials?
Thank you

Pino, if you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit, you can use it to enter PRC, however, when you board the plane in the Europe country, you should inform the carrier that you want to use the 72 hour free transit this time. And after you arrive at the airport and go through the immigration inspection office, you should tell the officers that you will use the 72 hour free transit instead of the double entries on your passport.

Dear All
everything went fine as explained by Stephanie.
Upon arrival just follow the signs for Transit Visa desk (at Terminal 2 in Pudong it can be found at the extreme left).
Quick and easy.
