My boyfriend is going to work in PRC for 2 years. I am going to keep him company there. May I know how do I get a tourist L type for 2 years? I do not plan to work or study there.

Andrea, there is no 2-year L type for you to apply for. You can only try to apply for a one-year multiple entry L type. When it expires after one year, you can re-apply for a new one. You should prepare the required documents including your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form affixed with a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your boyfriend. Afterwards, submit your application to the CVASC to apply for it.
