About:China Transit Visa

indonesian passport, 12 hours tranist in PRC

Hello..
can I get out from airport as im having 12 hrs transit in china?
do i need to get any kind of visa etc?
and im Indonesian passport holder.
thanks in advance for info

Tina, if the next country or region you will go to is different from the last one you departed, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. If so, you don’t need to apply for any entry permit. You can leave the airport as long as you apply for a temporary stay permit ( it is free of charge) at the airport.
