can I apply for a Chinese tourist L visa in South Korea?

I am an American in Seoul on a tourist visa. I would like to obtain a tourist visa to visit China. Is it possible? What documents are required?

Dan, it's possible to get it, but of course I can't assure you will get it because you just stay in ROK temporarily. The required documents include: a passport with remaining validity of more than six months, a copy of the photo page of the passport, a fully filled-out application form attached with your color bare-headed photo, the original and photocopy of your entry permit to the application country, and a copy of your round-trip tickets and accommodation arrange proofs for the upcoming travel.
