About:Chinese Embassy in Egypt

why HK visa/entery permit is mentioned in the price table for egyptians althought its exempted?

I'm traveling to Beijing and will visit HK and return back to Beijing, do i need visa/entery permit to enter HK ?
and is it a must to apply through agency? or i can apply directly to the embassy?

It's in the price table because those Egyptians who want to work or study in HK or who want to stay there longer than the allowed free-stay period still need an entry permit to enter there.

If you travel to HK for tourism or business purpose and you don't plan to stay for more than 90 days, the entry permit is not required. In case you need one, you don't have to apply through the agency. You can apply from the embassy or directly from the HK Immigration Department.
