About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

To obtain chinese visa

Hi My name is Samitha and I intend to visit China for 3 days for a private purpose. Could you please tell me how I am supposed to get a visiting entry permit for my purpose and the documents which i have to submit?? and also tell me how much will it cost me to get this done?? Your early response is highly appreciated. Thanks

Samitha, you want to apply for a tourist L type, right? If yes, you should first prepare the required documents including your passport and its photocopy, the application form, a passport-style photo, a letter from the local travel agency, the invitation letter from Chinese tourist bureau, travel itinerary, and recent 3-month bank statement. And then submit the application to the embassy of PRC in Sri Lanka to apply for it. It costs Rs2300.

hi thanks for the info...I have another query....i heard that if someone is going to visit China for the first time then he/she will have to get a sponsorship from a person who has been already visited there for once...is it true????plz reply soon...thanks

Hi there! Actually, I have never heard of that. You can just try to apply for it according to the document mentioned above.
