About:China Visa Application in USA

how do we get a visa to china. tour is 10/29 - 11/12/2016 american/have USA passport, maryland

on scheduled tour to Beijing starting 10/29 with us arriving 10/28/ 2016 and leaving 11/12/ 2016. Tour is only arranging the travel 10/29 to 11/12 and recommend arrive a day early. we are told to we have to arrange for our own flight and entry permit. When and where do we apply for it. We live in Maryland USA . We have a current USA passport.

Bentley, you are advised to apply for the L type one month earlier prior to your journey. You can ask for the invitation letter and travel itinerary from the travel agency.

After, you need to prepare the required documents including your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form affixed with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, the invitation letter and travel itinerary. And then submit your application to the embassy of PRC in USA to apply for it.
