About:China Consulate in Houston

Houston Consulate does not accept mailed Visa applications

Instead of hiring an agent for $100+, can I mail my documents to my parents who live in houston and they drop off my application? Thank you!

Thomas, if you live within the consular district of the Houston Consulate, you can mail your documents to your parents and ask them to drop off the application for you.

Thank you so much! It has been impossible reaching the Houston Chinese Consulate. You were my last option to verify this information. I greatly appreciate the reply. Best regards, Thomas.

Thomas. I am having a similar issue with the China Consulate Office in Houston. I am assuming that you are at least living in one of the states that the Houston Office is serving. The Houston Office also serves Georgia. However, instead of hiring an agent for $240, I want to drop off my application at the Consulate Office in Chicago while on a business trip there. I don't know if this is possible.
