About:China Visa on Arrival

I am travelling from Seoul to Kolkata via Shanghai

I am an Indian citizen. I am travelling from Kolkata to Seoul and Seol to Kolkata via Shanghai and I am arriving Shanghai at Pudong airport on 2nd June at 3.30PM and leaving Shanghai Pudong airport on 3rd June at 9.30PM. Whether I am required to apply for visa?

Aswini, I’m afraid you need to apply for it because your stopover time in Shanghai is more than 24 hours, you cannot enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. You should apply for a transit G type or tourist L type beforehand.
