Z visa ending, need 1 month L extension

Hello, I am currenty working in China and my Z type expires the last day of my school. I need a one month extension to pack up my things. How do I get one?

Hi Kate! You can visit the local exit and entry administration office seven days before your Z type expires to apply for a 1-month L type. You may need to take your passport, application form, recent photo, and a return ticket.
