About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

With Octopus card will I be able to travel from HKIA to Mongkok without using airport express?

Hi, I know that the card is considered as one of the for affordable prices to travel around hk. However, instead of purchasing the travel pass, issit more worth it to buy this to get to Mongkok and around hk? At the same time, AE travel pass with 3 days unlimited rides also includes for ferry to Macau and Victoria peak?

1. Yes, you may take bus line A21 from Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) to Bank Centre, Nathan Road Station. The fare is HKD 33, and the trip takes about 50 minutes. Just pay with the card.
2. Well, the card is quite economical. You can use it to ride on MTR, buses, taxis, ferries, trams, etc.
3. No, the three days unlimited ride cannot be used on ferries. It is only applicable to MTR, Light Rail and MTR Bus (Northwest New Territories) (except additional travel on the Airport Express, East Rail Line First Class, and travel to/from Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau stations).
