About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canadian Citizen Traveling to Asia

Hello,

I'm planning to travel from Vancouver, Canada -> Hong Kong (3days) -> Shanghai (2days) ->Seoul, South Korea -> Vancouver. Am I eligible for 144 hours visa-free transit?

Thanks,
B

Hi Bobby! You are eligible for the 144-hour free transit policy if your flight does not stop in other Chinese cities.

Thank you for the quick response! One more question: Is it okay if I purchased flight tickets from two different agencies? For instance, I already bought a ticket for Vancouver -> Hong Kong (3 days) and Seoul (5 days) -> Vancouver. Now, I'm thinking about buying a ticket for Hong Kong -> Shanghai (2 days) and Shanghai -> Korea, the MIDDLE part of my entire trip. Is this allowed?
