About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

My wife and I are traveling to Hong Kong in Oct. How do we get a visa for the mainland?

Do we have to send our passports somewhere in the US to get the entry permit? If so, where. We live in Arkansas.

Gerald, you should apply for it from the consulate in Houston. As the mailed application is not accepted, you can't send your passports to the office. You can go there in person or have someone else to drop off the application for you.
