About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

what is the cost for a visa, canadian citizen just travelling for a few days with a friend.

Do I fill out the application there at the office and do I get another passport picture before I go?

Anna, if you apply for it at the CVASC in Toronto, it costs CAD 145.2.
You’d better fill out the application in advance. As for the photo, if you have recently taken passport-style photo, it can be used. In this case, you don’t need to get another passport picture.
