Hi there AllI need some help please- there is mixed tales about this - I am south African Citizen Living in SA - my Wife is Filipino Living in SA with me - so she not staying in Philippines, we both have been to Mainland China in 2013 - however we would like to visit Shenzhen for 4 or 5 days, Please help me notifying me if this is possible and how much is the fee at the border crossing.Thank you

Luke, it's possible for you to get the 5-day VOA. However, it's hard to say whether your wife can get it as well because of her nationality. The cost for the VOA is CNY 168 per person.
