Resident Permit = Entry Visa?

Hi, I used to have a working permit but I resigned and my employer has cancelled it. Meanwhile, my Residence Permit still valid till mid May. Can I still enter China using the Residence Permit? Do I still need to apply for any entry visa if my Residence Permit still valid?

Choo, actually as long as your residence permit is valid, it can function as the entry permit. However, the thing is that your company may inform the exit and entry administration office of your resign and it may have already cancelled your residence permit. So it's risky to travel with this residence permit. You can consult this at the embassy and see if you need to get a new entry permit from there.
