About:Shanghai East Nanjing Road

Sister's visit

My sister will visit me in Shanghai from April 28th - May 2nd (5 days). She will fly to and from PVG airport. She holds a Dutch passport and has a return flight back to her country of residence. Is she eligible for a 144-hour free transit visa?

If she fly from Netherlands to Shanghai and then go back to Netherlands, she is not eligible for 144-hour visa free transit.

She flies from Sri Lanka and back to Sri Lanka. She had got a visa for Sri Lanka

No, she is not qualified for this policy unless she flies from Sri Lanka and then go to a third country.
