About:China Visa

I live in China and I need to authenticate my Scottish Degree.

Do I have to do the process in Scotland or in London? and since my brother will do submit the documents on my behalf, can he use my driving licence or do I need to send him my passport. I am from Europe.

Matte, when your were in the UK, if your residence address is in Scotland, you should authenticate your degree in Edinburg. If your residence address is in the consular district of the embassy in London, you should authenticate your degree there.

You don't need to send the original copy of your passport to your brother. A copy is enough. Your brother need to take his passport and a copy of it as well. I'm afraid the driver license does not work.

Dear Simona, thank you very much for your informative answer. I also have a doubt, I have contact an agency. They have send me the charging fees for doing all the process, which includes three steps, certification, apostillle and embassy legalization. They say that the processing time for the legalization of my bachelor is 5 working days, which is strange since I check somewhere in the internet that It take almost a month. Could you confirm me if they are right about that. Thanks a lot for your help.
