My old US passport was lost and I cannot provide previous Chinese Visa

I'm applying for a PRC tourist L type with my new passport. But the San Francisco agency wants me to provide previous PRC entry permits. Since I lost my passport and I didn't make a photocopy, what should I do now? Thanks!

Hi there! If so, you can tell them the truth and I don’t think it will be a big problem.
Or if you have reported your passport loss to the police before, you can go to the police station and ask for a passport loss certificate. In this case, it won’t be a problem.
