Hi,Me and my son have Italian passport while my wife have Vietnamese passport. We will stop for 17 hours in Pudong coming from Korea and flying to Italy. We want to go out from the airport to sleep in one of the hotels near the Airport. It's any transit permit required? Any problem with the Vietnamese passport?Thanks and Regards,Enrico

Enrico, don’t worry! All of you don’t need any entry permit because all of you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit (it is free of charge) at the airport immigration office and then you can leave the airport to check in at a hotel.
