You can try to apply for an S2 type. And you need an invitation letter from him.
The required documents include your passport and copy of its data page, the filled-out application form with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo attached, an invitation letter from your husband, copies of his passport and residence permit in PRC, and the relationship certificate (your marriage certificate). And then submit your application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it.
