About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Short business trip to Beijing

I have a business meeting in Beijing. I intend to arrive and leave back to UK after 24 hours. Do I need a full visa or can I get a direct transit?

Shontu, you don’t need to apply for a full entry permit. You are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. After getting off from the plane, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit and then you can leave the airport to attend the meeting.

YOU are NOT eligible for the 24h transit as you are flying back to the UK.

Country A - China - Country B is eligible.
