What is the best way to get to Badaling Great Wall from new world Beijing hotel?

I will be visiting early May .

From your hotel, it's suggested to take subway line 2 from Chongwenmen Station to Xizhimen Station, Exit A1. Then walk north around 950 yards (870 meters) to get to North Railway Station.
After arriving, take convenient train S2 to BDL Railway Station. The duration is only about an hour. Then you can walk or take the shuttle bus to the entrance of the scenic area directly.
