An official invitation letter is also called "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" which is a pre-approval document issued by a Chinese Government agency. You will need your suppliers in PRC to obtain that for you.

Dear, I mean that you should ask your suppliers in PRC to get the official invitation letter for you.
Your supplier should first prepare the required documents including the application form, your passport (copy), proof of your travel purpose, and other supplementary documents required by the relevant offices. And then go to the Foreign Affairs Office or the local PSB to apply for it.
