About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

AA Employee flying standby

If I arrive into Shanghai and plan on staying for a day or two and then flying standby back to the USA, is this allowed since I technically don't have a confirmed seat but flights are open back to USA. Thank you

Daniel, if you don't have a confirmed seat for the next destination after your stay in Shanghai, I'm afraid you can't enjoy the free transit policy.
