About:China Visa Fees

applying for aa visa

I will be traveling for for 3 months before arriving in china. Therefore can I apply for a china entry permit outside the country I reside in, which is New Zealand or will the entry permit still be valid if I apply 4 months in advance

Tourist visas issued to US citizens are valid for 10 years so you should do it ASAP. Also many, if not most, Chinese embassies require you to be a resident of the country you are applying in, otherwise they will not accept your application.
