About:Badaling Great Wall

Visiting Great Wall in mid October 2016 - Badaling or Mutianyu?

Hi,

My family and I will be in Beijing for three days from 19th to 21st October 2016. We plan to visit the Great Wall on a weekday, hoping to avoid huge crowds. Would you advise which section is a good option? Thanks for your help.

Jenny, there won't be many tourists on either section during that time. I personally recommend Badaling, for it is the most popular and best-preserved section in China. October is considered one of the best months to visit the Wall. Leaves would turn into red during that time and it will make the scenery even beautiful. Have a nice trip!
