About:China Business Visa

Can I apply for F1 visa ?

I live in Sweden, my wife in China. I want to search a residence permit to settle in China. I buy a single ticket to China? I'll have an invitation from my wife? What do you want in it? My wife is living with a relative, we can not both live there, we have the mindset to stay in hotels until I got the permit, then we will rent their own accommodation. We are both pensioners. She has her Chinese pension, and I will bring my Swedish pension.
Is this possible ??

Dear, there is no F1 type. Only F type is available.
Your wife is a Chinese national, right? Considering your situation, you can apply for a Q1 type and in this way, after you enter PRC with the Q1 type, you can apply for the temporary stay permit.

1. So may I know your wife is Chinese or Swedish?
If she is Swedish, you should apply for S1 type; but if she is Chinese, you should apply for Q1 type. And no matter wahich type you will apply for, an invitation letter from her is necessary.
2. If you get S1 type or Q1 type, you can go to China on single tickets.
3. PRC refers to People's Republic of China.
