About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Does he need a visa or an entry permit?

Hi there. My son, a Pakistani national, is studying in China mainland and has a resident permit. He needs to go to HK in first week of May to take a SAT exame. Does he need a visa or an entry permit? And that where shall he apply for this? He lives in Guangzhou. Will be grateful for your help.

Arshad, he needs a visa for HK. He can either apply from the HK SAR Office in Beijing or from the HK Immigration Deparment directly by posting his documents there. As the processing may take as long as a month or so, he had better do the application as soon as possible.
