About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa to PRC, my husband is Chinese, I want to stay for longer

I am a Filipina and my boyfriend is a Chinese. I wish to visit China but the consulate said if I go there they will only give me 14 days. Is that the maximum stay of visit in China? I wish I can stay more more days. Please help me how can I stay there for more days of visit.

Dear, if you have got married, you can apply for a Q type which allows you to stay for longer.
But if you don’t get married, you can only apply for tourist L type and if you want to stay longer, you can apply for an extension 7 days earlier before it expires.

I cannot marry him now coz I have an approved petition by my father in USA and he knows about it. But the consulate in Laoag is looking for my ticket first before they issue my visa, how can I extend for 7 days more if they require ticket first? I really need help for me to stay more that 14 days in China with him and meet his family. Thank you.
