About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

From Missouri ... traveling to DC soon

I'm from Missouri but will be going to DC next week, can i pick up my visa while I'm there. I'm not close to any other consulate.

No, you cannot apply for it in DC.
You should apply for it at the consulate general of PRC in Chicago.
