change plans during transfer 144 hours

Question

Hello, I arrived yesterday in Shanghai from Frankfurt/Germany and came into country on 144hr transfer visa to leave on Sunday to Tokyo/Japan.However, my plans has suddenly changed and I need to go back to Europe and booked tomorrow (Saturday's) flight to Frankfurt. Of course, cancelled my flight to Tokyo.Won't I have any problems at immigration, that I was supposed to leave for Japan, but actually go back to my original airport?Thank you!

Jacob, don’t worry! There won’t be any problems. You can change plans during transfer as long as you still enjoy the 144 hour free transit.

I would contact the immigration immediately. to solve the problem.If you fly back to Frankfurt you can´t use the twov and your stay is illegal.
